Our ACLS course is a 16 hour instructor- led training. This course is only offered in class where the American Heart Association instructor leads the course throughout the training period. This advanced course highlights the importance of high-performance team dynamics and communication, systems of care, recognition and intervention of cardiopulmonary arrest, immediate post-cardiac arrest, acute dysrhythmia, stroke, and acute coronary syndromes (ACS).
Advanced cardiovascular life support (ACLS) training expands on the core ACLS guidelines through cooperative learning to improve outcomes in complex cardiovascular, respiratory and other (e.g., metabolic, toxicological) emergencies. Through instruction and active participation in case-based scenarios, learners enhance their skills in the differential diagnosis and treatment of pre-arrest, arrest and post arrest patients.
